With “Leander’s Last Journey” Nick Baker-Monteys has succeeded in creating a soulful and thrilling road movie. He also wrote the script himself, with active support from Alexandra Umminger. The work deals with the themes of home, coming to terms with the past, love and family. Everything that makes for good material.
